Borderline (2025)

This thriller, directed by Ignas Jonynas, tells the story of a father, working as an ornithologist in a very captivating geographic location in Lithuania. Mourning the loss of his departed wife, he is now alone raising their autistic daughter. Through an unexpected series of events Vilius (Šarūnas Zenkevičius), gets unintentionally drawn into a border-crossing crime syndicate. This involvement gets him to reevaluate what actually matters and what is important to him. Borderline premiered at the 29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
