Dismissed addresses many pressing issues of our times. A freelance journalist investigates a mysterious AI corporation after a fire claims the life of its star employee, developing an AI system. As the journalist seeks to uncover the truth, he discovers an intricate web of secrets, exposing the dangerous impact of AI software on the world and on the mental health of the company's employees. Intertwining journalistic realism with cinematographic techniques, Dismissed received the Best Romanian Film Award at the Transilvania IFF (2024).
