We're Nothing at All (我们不是什么) (2026)
dir. Herman Yau
On Valentine’s Day, a double-decker bus explodes, killing many and leaving charred remains. Retired forensic expert, Lung Sir, discovers it was a deliberate act by two passengers, a gay couple from troubled backgrounds living on society’s margins. Scarred by abuse, homophobia, and despair, they chose suicide as a protest against an unjust world, leaving behind a haunting message: “On a beautiful day, we end our unbeautiful lives.”
