If you're looking for something archaeological and academic, the Asian Film Archive begins their Prasasti / Inscriptions programme (right) which investigates how histories and national records are shaped through media and archives. For some cinema under the stars, Asian Civilisations Museum is running a trio of free outdoor screenings this week alongside some craft kits and food options (or bring your own picnic basket)! If you've been reminicising or newly intrigued by the heyday of xinyao, Singapore Film Society begins screening Eva Tang's The Songs We Sang in their SFS Somerset programme (with Q&A!).
