Singapore Night Festival is this weekend and we have a few outdoor screenings to go with: Central Arts Library is organising a pair of free screenings at the NLB building, and the Asian Film Archive is screening horror films at Oldham Theatre ranging from the old to the new.
If you're looking for a movie to bring a date to, Richard Linklater's classic romantic film Before Sunrise begins playing at Filmhouse. Prepare to swoon for Hawke or Delpy or both. For romance of a completely different energy, there's Wim Wenders' Paris, Texas, that begins playing at SFS Somerset next Wednesday.
There's plenty more for different tastes this week, whether its documentaries, short films, or local films for those still feeling in a Singaporean mood coming off of National Day!
