            The Assassin(s) (2026)
October's deluge of film events is finally upon us, and, maybe fittingly, it has also been 1 year of the Filmbulletin. It's also the 30th edition of this weekly newsletter!
In the year since, we've had the opening of Filmhouse, the shifting of dates for SGIFF, and a small handful of local indie films hitting the cinemas (and sometimes skipping the festivals altogether); it seems like film culture has been going through a steady paradigm shift. We even have underground micro cinema projects popping up.
I think of Filmbulletin.sg as a small piece of this puzzle, and hope it has been a useful tool for introducing everyone to more of what Singapore has to offer in the world of cinema. If you're enjoying it, or have feedback, drop me an email!
With the first year Filmbulletin.sg behind us, I hope you have another wonderful year at the movies!
—Ben from Filmbulletin
