            Memoria (2021)
As someone interested in the sometimes forgotten works of yesteryear, I want to quickly highlight the rare opportunity to watch 3 restorations showing at the Singapore Chinese Film Festival this year. 
I saw Love Massacre (1981) at the Tokyo International Film Festival last year, and it is a confounding movie that you'll need to form your own opinion on. The System (1979) was also restored by the same initiative by M+ Museum in Hong Kong, and is also screening. I know next to nothing about The Woman of Wrath (1984), but it promises something lurid and melodramatic, which is a huge selling point in my book. 
There's plenty of other films showing this week, with new additions from MINT Museum, City Reading@SG, as well as the continuing European Film Festival. Check them out below!
