Inspired by Asian Film Archive’s own repository of films, Off the Catalogue presents a curated mix from its collection, ready to be rediscovered by contemporary eyes.
April’s programme is an homage to the popular theatrical tradition of the ‘chamber play’, as it brings together four films set in minimal locations with small casts, magnifying character psychology and intimate drama.

If This is My Story is structured in three acts focusing on a couple on the brink of divorce. Amidst their individual struggles, a transformation in the final act forces a confrontation on what’s real and what’s not.
