Event Description
The original short was an official selection at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, screened on international and domestic Japan Airlines flights, and accumulated over four million views across social media clips. This screening presents the larger-scale production and expanded vision of the film.

The first hour (6:00 PM–7:00 PM) is for mingling and enjoying Mee Pok from Li Yuan Mee Pok, the dish featured in the film. Ordering is completely optional, and guests may purchase food from any of the stalls. All food and drinks must be purchased individually by attendees. The screening begins at 7:00 PM, followed by a Q&A with members of the cast and crew. Please arrive on time.
Synopsis
Mother's Recipe (2026)
Mother's Recipe follows a Japanese boy navigating the move to Singapore with his mother. Desperate to return home, he takes on work at a local hawker centre, only to discover something deeper about family, belonging, and what "home" truly means.
