Synopsis
Past Present (2013)
Acclaimed Taiwanese filmmaker Tsai Ming-liang contemplates on his childhood and the cinematic experiences that have shaped his artistic vision. Weaving together recollections of his formative years in Malaysia, the film offers a rare glimpse into the creative processes of one of contemporary Asian cinema’s most distinctive filmmakers.
