Based on the memoir of Sakana-kun, an online celebrity ichthyologist in Japan, The Fish Tale gently unfolds through scenes of everyday encounters tinged with magical realism, blending moments of quiet marine wonder that articulate a gentle coexistence between humans and the sea.
