Josephine (2026)

Eight-year-old Josephine witnesses a violent crime at the park one morning while separated from her father. As her parents shield her from the reality of what happened, she tries to make sense of the event in her own way. Based on events in the director’s life, the film portrays a child’s fractured sense of safety and loss of innocence as she copes with trauma that is left unprocessed.
