Back to Burgundy (2017)

After a ten year absence, Jean returns to his hometown when his father falls ill. Reuniting with his sister Juliette and his brother Jérémie, they have to rebuild their relationship and trust as a family again.Back to Burgundy received a César nomination, notably with Ana Girardot nominated for Best Female Newcomer, in recognition of her performance as Juliette. The trio of actors was widely praised by critics, particularly François Civil, who later confirmed his prominence in the French cinematic landscape by winning the César Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2021 for BAC Nord.
