THU, 1 OCT - WED, 7 OCT 2026

            Fatherland (2026)
October begins tomorrow which means we're entering the busiest cinema season of the year since SGIFF moved up their programme to October. There's literally too much to see, good luck!
For this month we have, deep breath, German Film Festival, Japanese Film Festival, Korean Film Festival, Animation Nation Festival, Objectifs Short Film Festival, SGIFF, and that's on top of all the regular film programming we have in all our regular cinemas, indie or not.
We even have a couple of local films premiering in cinemas this month to join The Violinist in theatres, with Pace and The Sandbox. Plus, Ah Girl premieres at SGIFF in October, and may see a theatre run after, fingers crossed!
There's frankly too many to choose from for me to make any recommendations. Check out the listings for next week here, or go to the main website to find something you might be interested in further into the month, happy watching!
